Background

I have spent 25 years inside corporate finance — as a CFO for startups, mid-size companies, and AIM-listed firms on the London Stock Exchange. Most of the consultants who build financial models for founders are building spreadsheets. I build models informed by a quarter of a century of pattern recognition: what survives a due-diligence call, what falls apart in the second meeting, what a senior partner actually scrutinises before they answer the email.

I have sat on both sides of the table. I have raised $12M in equity as a CFO, and I have evaluated investment deals on the other side. When I build a model, I stress-test it the way an investor or acquirer would. The numbers do not just look good — they hold up under pressure.

And I use AI to make this work faster, not cheaper. AI helps me validate assumptions against industry benchmarks, stress-test scenarios across dozens of permutations, and automate the routine work. The output is CFO-quality, delivered in days instead of weeks.

Selected experience

My corporate finance background includes Coca-Cola HBC (financial planning) and Gazprombank (investment banking), followed by CFO and finance-leadership roles across manufacturing and FMCG in Russia, the UK, and the UAE. As CFO of a London AIM-listed mining company, I led a $12M equity raise: IFRS financial statements, DCF valuation, sensitivity analysis, investor presentation, and a full roadshow. As CFO of a greenfield railway infrastructure project in Indonesia, I structured project finance, managed government reporting, and consolidated financial statements across multiple entities. For an e-bike company operating across three jurisdictions (UAE and China), I built the finance function from zero — IFRS consolidation, zero-based budgeting, treasury management, and management reporting — in under a year.

Why I built this model

For each AI SaaS founder I work with, I start from the same financial model — the same 17 sheets, the same scenario engine, the same benchmark database. Over many engagements that model crystallised into a clean, defensible tool. So I distilled it into a bundle: the same template, the same cited benchmarks, the same pre-VC stress test — without the consulting layer.
